ArcLogistics Navigator
Designed specifically for fleet and logistics guidance, ArcLogistics Navigator is a fully functional GPS navigation system that helps organizations see increased savings in both time and money by ensuring their drivers follow the entire path of a route built with ArcLogistics. Fleet operators can also now control the screens available to drivers and, if desired, lock out specific screens and menus and even lock the entire system on vehicle movement.
Additionally, for system integrators and developers, there is a new remote control API that allows developers to control ArcLogistics Navigator from other applications. Functionality includes operations such as open, close, or pass a list of stop locations. Through the interface customization functionality, developers can control the position and size of ArcLogistics Navigator when it opens on the device they are using.
A choice between NAVTEQ and Tele Atlas is now available to be used with ArcLogistics Navigator.
ArcLogistics Navigator also comes with four languages: English, Spanish, French, and German. A localization kit is available for other custom language implementations.
ArcLogistics and ArcLogistics Navigator tightly integrate routing and scheduling with vehicle navigation in a “Desktop to Dashboard” type solution with a user friendly interface, offering multi-stop routing, and audible turn by turn navigation in multiple languages. ArcLogistics Navigator runs on Windows Desktop and Mobile devices.
How can ArcLogistics Navigator help your Business?
ArcLogistics Navigator, helps reduce fuel consumption and mileage, and improves customer service by ensuring that drivers stay on route and meet critical time windows. It lowers communication costs by reducing the need to use mobile phones to ask for directions and at the same time reduces the risks of accidents and company liability.
ArcLogistics Navigator contributes to increasing efficiency in the workplace: those involved in job scheduling or dispatch can focus on core activities rather than spending time guiding drivers over the phone.
