Knowing “Where am I”?

Over the last number of years there has been a significant influx of non-nationals to the workforce many of which have taken up positions as drivers within Logistics and Distribution Operations, leading to increased problems associated with a distinct lack of territory knowledge.

In more rural areas, which often contain little in the way of accurate directions and signage, deliveries can then start to back up.  This is particularly problematic where customer time windows need to be honored in line with contracted service level agreements, leading to disgruntled customers, potentially breach of contract and possibly loss of business.
